Well,
John -
Black/Orange and Black/Brown pairs look good, but I don't know if they are reversed in the connector.
Ed -
The last 3 (actually all) of the violet pairs dead end at the 66 blocks, with the exception of the 66 block where the 4A terminates, and it's fed on the 24th pair on only that block.
There's definately some sort of strange relationship between these 2 25 pair cables though.
Maybe another clue, I'm thinking of just ripping them both out and repunching.... but before that, I thought I'd throw this out there.
As I mentioned, plugging a keyset into either of these cables produces noise on all the other keysets. HOWEVER..... the 1 keyset plugged into one of the two 25 pair cables works fine, no noise at all. This is true for both of the cables in question.
I also removed all the clips for lines 3, 4 and 5 from the CO block. No luck.
Even with an incandescent, it's hard to tell the colors sometimes, as only a portion of the wire is visible. I think my next step is going to be to ohm out each terminal on the CO black back to the KSU, to verify nothing is backwards.
Will let ya know ... meantime ... as always ... open to any suggestions.
Thanks! Matt
