Permissions for Installers Category. To get permission for the private installers forum, you must have at least 10 constructive posts along with the following :
1.Post in this thread that you're requesting permission.
2. Make sure you have filled out the information in your user profile so that we know who you are. Don't bother asking if you have a throw away email address and list nothing else as to who you might be or the company you work for.
3.We need to be able to verify that you're an Installer/Owner or in the Telecom business in some way shape or form to be considered. We verify by matching your email address to your company's web site that is listed in your profile. Just typing a telecommunications company's name, address and phone number in your post may not help in the verification. We also verify that your 10 posts were legitimate and of benefit to others, not just filler posts. We expect that installers will be answering questions in addition to asking them. You may also be recommended by a moderator for permission in certain instances.
4. Make sure Enable private messaging and Allow email notices are both checked in you profile. Please read the Installer Forum Information and maintain compliance once you have permission."
We have you request in this thread so all we need to do is click on your users name to change your permissions...so much easier that way.
