To soften Mark K.'s comment, note that most handsets are extremely directional these days. A lot like the old 'Confidencer' by Roan. Let that mouthpiece drop below the 'point' of your chin, and bingo, low transmit. You might discuss this with your user, ask her if that is a possibility that neither of you had thought of. It would, I imagine, happen at the end of a 'TRYING' day. (Diplomacy will oft times clear the problem)  John C.
