Hi All
Im pretty new to the NEC system im looking for help regarding inserting the local area code in outbound calls over sip . currently the customer is having to dial the whole number ie 01282 221133 #
i know on other systems you can set it so that when the system will automatically insert the 01282 if the system see's that you start to dial with a 2/3/4/5/6/7 or 8 .

Also it would be handy the # could be automated too

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated

Damian

Damian,

This is something you need to contact the NEC European branch tech support. There are software differences between the North American and European systems.

Its pretty easy to do

use the LCR tables in easy edit. set LCR per trunk. dial data 0 - 9, 999 and 112. carrier table 1 for 0,1 999 and 112. access code blank line 1. your std code in line 2.
Bobs yer uncle
