I have tried two new KX-TVA-50 voicemails with a new 296 modem that I can not connect to through a modem. When I install the modem in an older cabinet and it works. I have tried 4 different modems, 5 different TVA's and the NEW TVA-50 (sn mfg.date of 2016) won't allow me to connect. 5 different pc's and 6 different modems have the same results. Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8 all have the same results. All 296 modems work in older hardware (pre 2015) but will not connect to the NEW TVA or will lock up the NEW TVA after receiving admin table. I've gone through CO pots lines, TDA50 slt ports with data line security enabled, even used an analog kxt 30810 ?????????

Can't connect through TDA 50 slt ports with data enabled. Can't connect through Century Link pots or through Spectrum digital lines.

Problem continues with Windows 7 and Windows 7 compatibility mode on Win 8. I have fixed the problem on two XP pcs by disabling the LAN connectivity and connected with the pci internal and external usb and rs232 Zoom modems.
If I enable the wireless or hardwired LAN devices, the system will lock up and stop working. I can receive the admin table (sometimes) but get a "can't read mailbox information" error and everything stops. The TVA modem will ring with no answer and the station accessing the vmail will get dead air or ring no answer.
