I have upgraded 2 of my Samsung OfficeServ Systems from V4.91 to V4.99 and since doing so, I am experiencing an intermittent problem on both systems. The problem is that at random times, when trying to phone out, the system does not give any dial tones and you cannot phone out. It is not possible to phone out on any of the BRI or SIP lines, but incoming calls are working fine.

I have spoken to our local Samsung Installer and they say that many of their clients who upgraded to V4.99 are having the exact same problem and that they have logged a fault with Samsung.

I have found that rebooting the system, reloading all the settings, or just leaving the system for a while solves the problem in the short term until it happens again which is about once or so per day.

Has anyone else observed this on V4.99?

Not in the US at least. I'm about halfway through upgrading 800 offices to 4.99 and SIP and so far haven't had this problem.
