Hello all , new to the forum here. Did some searches for BIOU in the forum and didn't seem to find what I was looking for. First and foremost where can I find the a pinout schematic for the BIOU card thats in my CIX670 system.
Currently we are using paging out of a BIOU card and only the first 2 wires on the punch block coming from the BIOU are used and set as group 1. The connection daisy chains off to punch blocks for paging in other buildings. Also emanager maintenance cabinet info for the biou slot shows only a port 1. Should there be more ports, if so how do I activate them? I simply need to add a zone so I can page one building seperate when needed using #31 instead of #30 Page all. I have done some research and read I can get 4 paging zones from this card , but just don't know how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

This is a pretty technical project that is beyond the scope of this forum. But if you want to take a whack at it, the I&M manual has the schematics.

If you can't find it in the CIX I&M manual, try the older DK280 I&M, I know it had the had the hookup diagrams for the PIOU which should be very similar.

After reading the I&M manual, I can see now why you say it is beyond the scope of the forum as it requires the use of the zone relays. So for anyone reading this post. The I&M manual is a must have for this project. Thanks again.
