Aloha,
I am VERY new to this NEC IPK phone system and have only worked with Cisco VoIP and Intertel Axxess systems in the past.
I have an analog line that had no dial tone, plenty of static. Had a phone guy (not the vendor who sold the company this system) come out and troubleshoot. He came to the conclusion that it was a bad SLI card. I ordered a new SLI card, put it in today and the static on the line is gone, but no dial tone.
I rebooted the switch to no avail. I am wondering there are any other steps I am supposed to take when swapping a card like this.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Sounds like that particular port is either not programmed in 4-10 with an extension number or there is a cabling issue.
Make sure the amphenol cable on the side of the KSU is snapped all the way in.

Thank you for the reply. Phone guy came out and showed me the blown capacitor on the "new" card. Another one being shipped over. As an aside, I downloaded the programming manual for this particular system. Kudos to those of you who have mastered this kind of stuff. Makes Call Manager and Cisco router/switch configs look like kids play. I prefer kids play Aloha!
