Happy Halloween All!

I have an awesome idea, only I need some help to get it into motion.
Is there a device that will take, say, 6 coax cctv cameras, and convert them to an IP format, with one IP address for each camera (on the LAN), so that the remote DVR can connect to each camera individually?

Thanks for any input.

Diagram
Coax Cam.-------Device----------IP Port---Address
x--------------[ ~ ]-------------[] .250
x--------------[ ~ ]-------------[] .251
x--------------[ ~ ]-------------[] .252
x--------------[ ~ ]-------------[] .253

Etc. I prefer to have several cameras connected to one device that can do this, and even more preferably it be 19" rackmounted.

Even though I prefer those, let me know if there is anything. Thanks!!!

Thanks for any input!

Thanks for the link anthony,
That is a neat device, too bad it isn't quite what I'm looking for.

I'm wondering if a TCP Balun is what I need?

How are you looking to break out the signal on the other end? To get the camera on the network you need an encoder, have a look at DvTel, I have used their products and they work very well. If you are going to record the cameras you need an NVR, network video recorder, there are lots of them out there, and most support DvTel's encoders as an input. If you are going to bring it back to analog, then you need a decoder, again, DvTel. They have some units that take 1,8,12, or 24 inputs into a single box, which can be racked up, and have as many video streams out to your NVR or decoder.

What is your application?
