Currently I have a customer in need of disabling 411 and another information number. They have long distance shut off on all there lines and the residents at their adult care home are using information to place long distance calls which are starting to cost them a lot of cash.
For a small background about me, I have been working with phone systems for roughly a year, and only started programming for the last few months. The company I work for recently accepted service responsibility of the Iwatsu from another company that has left the phone business. Since I was new tot he company, I've gained sole responsibility for all Iwatsu service calls.
As for the problem, I have read everything I can on toll restriction in the manuals and was unable to restrict the information numbers. Class 6.06 is where I entered the 411 and 555-1212 information number but I noticed in the manual it suggest I program, 06.01 - Toll Restriction Table 10.23 - Toll Restriction Level 11.40 - Toll Restriction Group Number
I'm sure it's simple but I can't seem to wrap my had around to what I need to change in those other classes to successfully restrict the 411 and 555-1212 information numbers.
I'd appreciate any help you can give me, because I'm quite stubborn on calling Iwatsu support for help. I'd rather figure it out myself and learn it. Thanks!

If learning toll restriction programming is your goal- and good for you!- look at ALL the programming areas in Class 6. See if you notice a table containing other numbers that are typically restricted, say 900 numbers or calls to certain Caribbean islands. Depending on the software version you're working with, a default table may already be created.
As long as the phones you are trying to restrict are set at something other than 'zero' for toll restriction, any number in that list will be restricted to them.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
