What ESI system are we talking about. First thing is, check the wiring from the switch tails to the D-marc (cross connects). Has this always been an issue? If all that is checked out, try moving those to lines to a different line number like co3 and co4. Make sure the amphenol is in all the way and is not loose. Also, make sure you do not have a short on the amphenol.

Let us know what you find out.

THe phone system is a first generation ivx system. The customer thinks it is 9 years old. Every thing checks out out side of the unit itself. Not knowing how to program the unit is a problem also the 3rd and 4th co lines are not active on the system so i cannot put those on the system to see if that works. Is there a programing manuel i could get from someone on here so i can activate those other lines.

mattcav1... yes the first gen 20's are about 9-10 years old. Boasting analog phones with 3 park keys (EKT-A) and a 4, wire circuit.

If your still having problems, holler at me between 10am and 4pm Mon. - Fri. I can get you rollin' in the right direction. 5-10 minutes tops and you will know all you need to know about trouble shooting your problem.
