There are several files that you have to put into a DM directory via a card reader

I guess all the files in the Embedded folder then, can they be uploaded thru file control?

I got it to work thru the public internet. First I downloaded the embedded dm folder. Installed it via a card reader on my laptop. Then went into ie, tools, internet options, security. Click on Trusted sites and add your IP to the trusted site list (either internal or external). Then back on the trusted site, click on custom level go to Downloads, enable automatic prompting for file downloads. Then I set port 80 and 21 to the MP20 processor Ip. Then I opened up the browser (I have IE 8) and entered https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/dmp/ make sure that the forward slash is after the dmp, otherwise it will not work. I tried https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/dm/ but that would not work. By the way I am running 4.53c on the 7200 MP20. Hope this helps.

nameless - tried the IP without the /dmp/ at the end and mine would not load. Just an FYI

Yes I did, it worked but I was looking for an easier way from a customer pc, its looks like its easier to just download and install device manager, for one the customer I was working on is DHCP and I would have to change the public ip for it to work, but thanks for all of the help!

I agree, just install DM on the customers PC and batta bing, your good to go.

So has anyone used device manager without some level of discomfort? It doesn't seem so.
