Here's the Issue

7400 w/ 7200 exp

16 mwsli in the 7200

pri2 in the 7400

Call comes in rings the fax sounds like it's going to pick up then it disconnects ?

I can fax from ext to ext with no problems ?

normal call's work fine ???

Here's the best part, one fax works fine from what I can tell.

Local calls to the faxs fail long distance might work very very hit and miss.

I had the same problem with a regular T1(not PRI) on a Samsung 500.

Now I am not talking about any timing

The T1 was connected Thru a NON programable Adtran
Ace CSU. The customer called and said that they were
having all kind of fax problems. I tried to dial in
on a modem could not get in. Tried to get into the
voicemail system thru modem. Could not. Went to site
and found out thru errors on the Samsung 500 Frame
slips every 5 seconds. Went thru this for 3 months.
at&t called finally and said one of the hops were programmed wrong. Hope this helps out

SOLVED

It was an Issue with the cid comming from the PRI
being sent to the sli ext's ( I guess the cid info (packet burst)was not letting the handshake take place)

The pri provider (Embarq) and several other people in a confrence call today,just by chance truned off cid to the whole pri and a fax came in,turn back on no fax ,turn off cid in the system to all fax sli port's and it works.
