I have a customer with a main office and 2 remotes. The IP phones on the new remote office work OK. The IP phones in the 2 year old office had a one-way voice problem. With the help of Benb and others, we looked at everything we could think of, and could not find the problem. All the router/firewall setting were the same at both remote sites.
The problem turned out to be the 24 port Netgear ethernet switch. Plugging the phone into the back of the router worked OK, so we replaced the Netgear. All remote phones now work.
Sometimes you just have to back up and restart keeping it simple.
Thanks again to Benb and all the others !

Thanks for posting your resolution. While I'm not bashing Netgear I will use only HP Procurve network switches for small offices. You can get them in 8 or 24 ports. I have yet to have one fail and they have a lifetime warranty!
