I have a Compact DCS in my home with a SVMi-4 set as the auto attendant. What I would like to acomplish is this...
When someone calls in and selects 2 from the main menu, I would like the VM to first try X 204. If after 3 rings and no answer then try X 202, if still no answer leave a message in VMB 204. I know from the class that you can do this with a SVMi-8, but cannot remember how to do it (or if it is even possible on the SVMi-4!).
Thanks in advance! Scott

Well one way to do it is when you press 2, send it to a group lets say 510. Now 204 is the only member of the group and and set it to overflow after 10 seconds to a next destination of group 511.Now 202 is a member of 511 and set group 511 to overflow after 10 seconds to 529.Set up a mailbox for 511 and set it up to auto forward to mailbox 203 immediately. The only thing you're adding is 1 extra mailbox for group 511. Remember to turn off transfer supervision so the phone system controls the call not the svmi.
