It seems some of our faxes are not being sent to the user because the switch sometimes does not send the right amount of DID digits. Is there a way to expand the duration of tones, and or the time between tones? We need 5 digits to the fax server and sometimes we get only 4 from the MP5000 even though we are set to 5 on the voice mail id field in DID translation.

I've never been able to make Net satisFaxtion work reliably with the MP5000 without sending 7 digits. We have several sites that have no issues including our office but again all sites are using the 7 digits in the DID translation.

Are you saying sending 7 from the VM id field or all the way from the CO?

We can change that to 7. Wonder why they would'nt know that? It seems as if when it misses a digit it would be somewhere in the middle. For example, when expecting 07234, the digits captured on the faxback were 0734

Hi,

I had same problem. You can increase the dtmf tones and it will solve the problem.

WE had the same issue. I bet you are using a mainpine modem board. There is a know issue with this board. They ended up sending us a different board, I think it was a brook trout or a pearl board.
