Sounds like you need to do a system master clear and reprogram from scratch to clear out whatever you mis-programmed. :read: :read: :read: :read:

Have you possibly changed the station type for that port? It's been years since I worked on that system but I seem to recall that you could program ports for other phone models. That's just a guess, but it's worth a try. Since you have a manual, check out the station ID programming.

I've just looked into the station type because your idea seemed possible. While you can program for other phone models, what I found out is that the systems defaults to impact phones by default, which is what I have. I've already defaulted that station and transferred the button assignements from another phone with no success. So even if I had changed it to a different model it should have changed back with what I did.
Thanks for trying, though!

Have you tried powering down the DSU (just the DSU, not the voicemail) to see if it resets?

Yes to both of you. Still, the only button that responds is mute.

time to call a certified tech to figure it out. Sometimes it is worth paying for a good tech. Just my 2 cents.
