ok, im trying to set a call forwarding button on the phone. i got the button mapped w/ the CF command, but when i press the button i get the intercom. So how do i program the phone for call forwarding. or am i missing something here.

What system are you trying to program? DSU? DXP? FX?

Enter programming,dial 56 then 11, select a button, select station port or ports, *** speaker.

will that work to call forward to a phone number instead of a station.

That sounds like call forwarding outside.
If you need an extension to call forward outside to an external number (cell phone)
You have to set up CFOS.
I think you have to have software level 6 or 7 for that and a lot of programming.

Now I've seen a couple of posts from you on this matter, are you trying to forward a call from a phone or are you trying to have the Debut forward your call? We need to know exactly what you are trying to set up. Your first question just asked how to call forward so we took it as inside call forwarding to another station.
