First Post. I'll try not to ramble. Have about twenty five computers and 10 manufacturing machines networked together using fixed IP all working well. Have Adtran 612 as network gateway also on fixed IP. Isp is providing 5 IP's. My problem. I want to place a router/firewall behind the Adtran and set up VPN. I have a Linksys RVo42 and try as I might I can not get out to the internet. Any suggestions appreciated. I feel that my problem is the Adtran. Thanks

Do you have public or private IP's on your pc(s) now?

take a look at this if you answered Public.

Once again a diagram would be helpful. How about this?

==================================
Internet - Adtran Router - Netgear Router - LAN
===================================

Note that the ======== represents the walls of a VPN tunnel.

First log into the Netgear router and change the subnet of its inside interface. Then reboot your computer and log into the Netgear router again. Then make sure the Netgear router's outside interface (WAN port) is configured to act as a DHCP client and is getting the necessary information from the DHCP server in the Adtran Router.
