I had to convert a 160 from copper to PRI today, well I tried anyway!I worked with a local provider tech that I have delt with before.I matched settings with another location we have but cannot get outgoing to work nor the DIDs.Settings are ISDN NI2 ESF B8ZS.Tried all start types, moved slots and still nothing.Provider can make calls on T bird.Software version is 3.20...Any Ideas?Could the card be bad out of the box?

Thanks Jayman!!

If you installed the PRI card after the CO card your PRI lines should start at 9 and end at 32
You can verify this under the system ports

Make sure your card type is set to T1/PRI
Set your channels to 24.
Slave for the clock

Set your lines to DID wink start.
Set the number of DID digits.

make sure your cable from the smart jack is good.

Can the lp see the D channel, next I would remove that co card and reset the T1 card.Add some fixed loop keys and test to see if you get a busy are a dead air.If dead air more likely bad card.

If you say you don't know you will get more respect.

I would hook up a regular fax machine up to that extension and test it and see what happens. When you where on copper did the fax line come through the phone system? Testing it with a true fax machine would let you know if the computer system just didn't like the signal.
