Does anyone know if NEC plans on releasing a soft phone for the DSX

I just had our NEC rep in discussing future roadmaps and it doesn't seem like they will have this.

You may use the X10 softphone.

We do not have any plans for a DSX specific softphone. However, X-Lite (aka Xten or X10) is supported.

Hey Deus, not that it's a big deal, but can the DSX softphone show video over IP (I worked with a version of the Asterisk that could with that application.)
Just curious, really.
