Hello,
i am working on a centrex 945 system. the user has 4 locations & 3 lines. the user complained to me that if he is on line 1 someone from a different location can pick up line 1 and listen in. Isn't there a privacy feature on the phone or is that in the settings. I have read the manual & cannot find. Also I have installed home runs for each location that terminate to a 66 block & the lines are daisy chained down the 66 block is this the correct wiring, or is there a hunt system I am missing for the centrex system to work properly? thanks for any help or advice

The AT&T 945 is a NoKSU type telephone. Only certain telephones can be used as a part of the "system". If you connect a standard telephone, some features will not function properly. Are all the telephones being used 945s or others that are designed to work with the 945? Here is the User's Guide to the AT&T 945: https://telephones.att.com/docMgt/public/art/20475/945_manual.pdf Page 41 discusses Call Privacy.
