Hi. Can an analog Dispatch on a DHS do an external call transfer? I have a customer who wants a call answered by the AA to be transferred to an external number when one of the digits in the menu are dialed. I seem to recall this being one of those things in the manual that said "contact tech support before changing this". Thanks.

The easiest way is to transfer the call to a station that is off net forwarded to the outside number. That way the phone system actually handles the call.
Otherwise, have the Dispatch key action route the call to a custom command file. I usually do this by making the key action go to a menu and make the menu run the CF. With this method, it works better if you have TelCo call transfer. Then you can create a command file with a phone number that performs the CO flash action and then dials the number. However, to add the command file to the dispatch, you need to create it and then upload it to the system.

Can I call forward a station off net on a DHS? I thought I could only external forward a CO line to a speed dial.
