I have searched the forum before posting and got a little guidance on what i needed to do to get this to work but it does not seem to be.

Our Kitchen has several lines that they would like to got to a general message they recorded.

I went in to system, then to Day/Night mode.
Chose tenant 8 that was not being used.
they are open 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm. so i set all days to be workday. then in program 113 set the times as follows
day 1 workday 07:00 day 2 mode workday 99:99
night mode/workday 17:00 day 2 mode/non-work99:99
the rest is the default 99:99

Then went in to the stations and set them for tenant 8. and removed all system call forwarding.
I noticed on the other one that is setup for day/night mode has a pilot that tells it what to do for the sys call forward and send to voice mail. i am guessing that's why that one works and the new one i created isn't. so my question is do i have to do the pilot or do i need to just set a call forward that will only send to voice mail during night mode and ring with out ever going to voice mail during day mode?

The day/night mode doesn't do much for the stations, but it would come in handy if it did.

The schedule you setup would apply to how the trunks ring. You can set the lines to a different ILG and assign them to tenant 8. You can use a pilot DN as the DIT desination at night to send the calls directly to a voicemail box using the destination of the voicemil and VMIS of the VM box to record a message.
