What else do I need for a DISA or DID line?
I am a noob to this.

I don't need voice mail. I just need to call into the dk40i and access a co line to dial out.

I have a Dk40i with the following cards installed:

-- TCIU2A
-- KSTU2A/KSTS2A
-- K5RCU2A
-- Expansion Cab. with PDKU2

Thank You

You are good, just use prog 78 to activate.

DISA is a built-in feature for Toshiba systems.

I was just told by someone that the DK40i does not support DISA and I did activate it in prog 78 still no luck. I also added a DID card. If this is possible I am willing to pay someone to help me set it up. I just want to call in and access a CO line to make a call on business line.

Prgr. 78, Option 2, code 1 & 3. Progr. 60-6 for security code if needed. You have 10 sec. to use DISA if not it just start ringing as a regular line.

You dial in and wait for dial tone usually after 2 rings. Dial 9 to make outgoing call.

I tried that and it didn't work. So I dumped the whole system (ran 91-9 twice). I wanted to start from scratch because I lost track of the changes that i made. I tried pgr 78 again and the line still doesnt answer.

You have a KRCU in the system? In Prog 03 what do you have in 00, should be 92.

You will need to rock power for this to take.

Also do the phones start to ring after the 10 second time out?

In Prog 3 in 00 i get 91. I have a K5RCU2A installed. I changed it to 98 and now it answers. TY sooo much. If you don't mind me asking (i looked online and didnt find much on the topic.) How do i make sure a specific co line gets used and can i also dial an extension? I get the dial tone and dont know what to do. Everytime i try dialing it defaults to ringing on port 000. Once again Thank You for your time.
