Hello All,

I have a CTX670 with a BIPU-M2A card. I currently have 3 IPT-1020SD phone running off the card. 2 additional IPT-1020 phones have died. I need to replace 1. Does the BIPU support the IPT-2010 and IPT-2020 Phones? The version of the card is BIPM08F.

I believe I heard that the IPT-2020's will work but the large diplay IP phones won't. Is this correct? Any advice as to why I have had 3 IP phone failures out of 6 phones in less that 2 years?

IPT 2020 and 2010 will work with the BIPU, not sure why you have had failures, I do know there were some firmware upgrades that fixed a lot of problems on the older IPT 1020 phone.

How did your IPT die? So far the only way IPTs die are their AC Adapter burns.

The phones stopped working and would not go into the programming mode with 3-6-9-Hold. Don't know why but that is what happen.

Just received 2 IPT2010's - they are working great.

Usually the only way I have phones die is when liquids are spilled over them (ie coffee). I do not use the IPT's though.

if the phone is not completly dead but will not go into '3-6-9-hold' make sure there is nothing plugged into the headset port under the phone, then try again...

I have seen where I can program all settings on ip phone then when it resets it all goes back to zero, had to send it in for repair...
