I got an old Toshiba DK 280 PBX, and it was working fine before resetting the RCTU. I have a toshiba DK 2020N2-SD digital phone connected to it. Whatever extension I dial, it says vacant even i try to setup time & date. I need to configure the pbx, so that it gets up running. I dont have any software or dongle to configure it. Can u please help me in this regard. It would be great if i am supported.

Was this dk 280 a running system in a business or a system that you have on the bench ?

If this system has only 1 phone plugged in every other ext will show up vacant.

This DK280 was a running system in business. When we got it, it was working fine but the Extensions configured in the RSTU cards were not continuous, so we resetted the box by switching off the battery. After the reboot we found that all extensions deleted. We do not have a software or a Manual for this system and even we do not know the colour code details of the cable coming from the RSTU cards.

By checking in the Internet we found that we need DKAdmin software to configure this, but we do not know were to get it.

We need to configure this DK280 asap so plese help us in configuring this device.

Above there is alink for manuals .

Call john at manuals plus and over night a manual for installation and programming .

Follow the instructions in programming for a new installation. Use a dkt2020sd at port 005

Or look above in installers for a toshiba tech in your area.

If you have a pious in your system it can be accessed remotely and we can get in .

You first need to know that to use the DKAdmin software you'll need a dongle/software key. That'll run you about $250 from TSD or $500+ on the open market. The system is a fun system to program and can be programmed throught a 20 button display phone but you should get a skilled technician to do it. There are plenty of people here that can help you out.
