Just installed new voice mail and have been getting hang up calls in boxes. Once the message starts to play if you hang up a hang up will occur everytime there must be an adjustment that can be made.

Do you mean that the call doesn't hang up or the voicemail is dropping the call.

If the VM is not dropping the call play with the open loop timer. Also there a setting for MAX silence in the COS in the voicemail. If it's a E-magen.

the voice mail is not hanging up the calland you get hangups in the mail boxes.open loop timer is set for 0.5 the max silence is set for 5 sec

You can set the open loop timer lower. 0.1 is the lowest but you might get hang-ups in a call. I have had this problem before. Telco wasn't sending me a disconnect and they wouldn't help me out.
So what I did was made a script and had it hang up on error.
To leave a gernal msg I made the caller hit a button. Take out your no respons mailbox.
