I was wondering if there was a way to tell what version of Telrad IVM I am running by simply looking at the files located under the IVM folder.
That information is valuable, but what I really need is a piece of software that can play/convert the IVM format (can somebody explain what that might be)to a wav or mp3 file. IVM may even have this capability, but I am not sure. I have a forensic image of the voicemail system, but I do not have the hardware in my posession. One option is to determine the version and then buy the hardware to simply listen to the messages, but that will be last resort. Please let me know if you have any of this information! Thanks...

Is there a seperate player that will just play the files? What is the file format used by IVM?
