I tried searching for an answer to this but had no luck. We recently installed a Comdial DX-120 for a customer. He wants caller id on his phone but does not want the phone to ring. On the dx-120 this is not possible. We did connect a cid device in his office so he could see the inbound caller id but this just wasn't good enough for him. he keeps telling us that his wifes system can do this. It's a panasonic system I believe it's a TVA 50. My question is do any of the panasonic systems have this capability?

No. Set his phone to ring but turn off the ringer. Set his phone for voice announce intercom. Drawback: others can't call him on the intercom while he is on the phone' If the phone is not set to ring, the CID won't sing.

Thanks, we do have it setup that way currently. I really think the guy is just trying to get out of paying for the system.
