So, if I'm using common bell, and only say line 4 of the shoebox rings on incoming call, per partner programming, how would I silence common bell for the duration of the call without losing the bell if say an Icom call comes into the shoebox on say shoebox line one which is a different partner extension? Assuming my previous assertion that four partner extensions are connected to the four lines of the shoebox and only the extension connected to shoebox line four is programmed to ring on outside calls via the partner. This is getting convoluted, I know, but it seems to make sense to me.
