I doubt there would be an issue as well. Still all copper down my street. That's not to say the fiber isn't up there but the drops to all the houses are still copper. No ONT's from what I can tell. Heck, I have four copper drops to my house and two still have battery on them. No service or DT to be sure, but they are still alive. If I can't get the 1A2 working with what I have I'll see what Fairpoint's rates are for basic service. I do like the reliability of a pots line over how flakey my comcast service can be. Any power outage can knock that thing out. I'm so far from their head end that any pole mounted amp that loses power knocks my service out. And I live in Manchester. Not exactly rural.
