As far as fiber, it is almost easier to install it, but the cost of NIC cards and switches drive the customers costs way up.

That's because there isn't a demand for them. 100 Base T stuff used to be expensive too.

But gee wilikers, if they adopt fiber what will the VoIP crowd do? The'll have to have two types of phones. And how do you do power over fiber?
