Thanks for the kind works and welcome to the forum.
While I don't think I've read the GOB thread, I would likely disagree. As you pointed out, the regular posters here are highly qualified professionals who give their advice freely. One common concern amongst us is that we do not want to see food taken off a fellow members table(s).
Tha above is where telling one what to do, but not how to do it comes into effect. You will also find that how a question is asked goes directly to how it is answered.
Due to recent events, you may find that some will receive a "perhaps you would benefit from calling in a local technician" answer. Those helping in the forum to support others likely won't get that type of response.
