Greetings,
I have a BCM50e release 3 that I would like to restore a database to. I know what the nnadmin password is now but I'm not sure what the password on the restore is. If I go to do the restore and uncheck the security box will it leave the password unchanged?

Yes
Once you do a restore then do a full backup right away including the security so your new password will be backed up this time.
