Hello,

I recently posted a forum topic of getting IP phones on our old IP403 unit. Thanks to the help on this forum, I have IP phones up and working!!

I have been statically assigning each of the phones since we don't need many and don't have a large network. However, I have one 4610 IP Phone that does not say "Press * to program" It automatically goes into DHCP and will stay their searching for the DHCP server while their isn't any. I tried to press * but it just gives an error tone and doesn't do anything to statically assign it.

Note: I have not previously assigned any 4610 IP phones but I am assuming that they also say "Press * to program" just like the 4620 and 4612 IP phones that I have working.

Is their anything that I can do to change this?

Thank you for your support. I appreciate it!
