I have searched the manual with no luck. How do I set up automatic night mode? I have the system set up to be answered by the night greeting but you have to manually put the system in night mode at station 100. Where would I find the schedule to set up the days and times to be answered by the night greeting?

PS... I am programming with the TCP-IP connection, not through the phone itself.

That would be the Weekly Time Table (under Tables), PGM 233.

You will need to change the system to Auto Ring mode from the Attendant station for it to follow the schedule.

Thanks CMM. I know how to put it into night, day,and on demand mode from the attendant...Is auto mode also one of those selections that I don't remember seeing?

It is an attendant option.

New question about this. When the system is in "auto mode" the attendant's phone has a button (dnd I think) that blinks rapidly and it is quite distracting. Is there a way to turn it off or make it go solid?

in setting up the weekly timetable, do you just have to pick the index = 0, then make sure all the CO's you want to follow it are in the Tenacy Group=0 and do DND/Fwd+5+Hold? I have a customer that swears they have pressed DND/FWD+5+Hold and it is not working?

Obviously you have to assign night destination in CO ring assignments. After that set time in table index 0, and follow attendant instructions, just like you posted above: dnd/fwd 5 hold/save. This has to be done at the operator station. It is the same for cos and did numbers.

Just a note...if you are using a CCR menu at night you set this up for night with DISA type service in PGM 140 not ringing assignment.

Yeah Derrick, I have set those options as well, the customer must not be setting the auto mode. Thanks

I watched a seminar on the next release (4.0 on vconnect) & you are suppose to be able to manually turn off that darn blinking light when in auto mode.

Also an option for users to skip over the date and time stamp. There is hope.

Can't wait to get 4.0. I don't know what it is about that light but it seems to bug everyone.
