It looks like we just sold our fist one of these. I have resisted this as long as I can and with the STSe being priced out of being competative this looks like its it. I will admit that it does price well, even at a small configutation. That said, I am looking for some honest feedback here on what your experience has been with this product. I know the old voice mails were a mess and this is the newest vm and system sw and they are supposed to be better. We loved the STSe progamming (same as the XTS) flash which was really like childs play at this point. we have an SBX on the test bench and it is different and does not seem as flexible. Is this system worth doing? Thanks

Yes, the system is worth doing. The system is actually fairly flexible, you'll just have to get use to the programming.

BTW, the new MBX programming will be almost identical to the SBX.

My customers like it better than the STS, but they don't have to program it. It is worth doing, you will get used to it.

It reminds me of the old vodavi telenium system. Same concept in the programming except the telenium you could do from a browser and the sbx needs the pc admin tool. Also not to bad, once you get use to the pgm codes. I too loved the old way of prog through the phone. There are times when i need to look at the manual for something like taking a line out of a tg just because i dont know the codes yet.

I am beginning to warm up to it too. Perhaps one advantage of the added learning curve will be to keep novices at bay. In today's economy, that can be a big plus for us vendors.

Thanks for the input guys. We have been selling IPitomy and it was just too pricy in this configuration. We had to learn that and now this so it seems we are getting smarter despite our best efforts not to. We will give the SBX a whirl. Thanks

Another thing thats great about the SBX is you can program from the phone (24b) OR laptop. It is easier on the laptop but either is ok.

There is a Webinar coming up 11-11-2010.

We need to provide some cordless headsets on this. We are looking at the Plantronics CS55 with the HL-10 lifter. Believe it or not, Plantronics has no clue if this is compatible with the 4024 phone. Does anyone out there know? Thanks
