I've got an IPx Office and am using a T208M handset. When I'm on another call, I'd like incoming calls to go to my busy voicemail message, but only after I see the incoming call on the phone screen. However, when I use the CF_BUSY feature, callers go directly to my voicemail and get my "Busy" greeting and I couldn't see who tried to call, it just lights up my voicemail light without me knowing I missed a call. Alternatively, if I leave the CF_BUSY feature off and just rely on the CF_NO_ANS features, then I can see the call come through on the screen (and answer it if necessary), but if I ignore it then it'll go to my voicemail but the caller will hear my standard voicemail greeting, not the "Busy" greeting. Any way to get the best of both worlds? I don't want to change my standard greeting to say I'm busy because it might not be true.
The reason for all this being that when my callers get the standard greeting they'll often call my cell phone, then my hard line again, and all my phones end up ringing from one caller while I try and finish up whatever call I'm on. I'd rather the caller somehow get to my "Busy" greeting so they just leave a message instead of trying to track me down, but only after I see it ringing in so I can choose to jump to the new call or not. I thought maybe using a #1445 Divert button which would work awesome, but I don't see how to divert to a specific greeting type. Any ideas?
