I have a customer with a Tadiran ICE phone system that is experiencing issues with the Do Not Disturb feature. Apparently when the phone is set to DND, incomming calls (Itcm and Outside)are still ringing on the station set. I asked the customer to duplicate the issue and the problem persists.

Any idea why DND is not blocking ringing for incomming calls?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I'm not very familiar with the ICE systems, but do work on a similar product. Take a look at "Group ringing" or "UCD Group". The DND sometimes does not affect those extensions that are in a ringing group. Also, take a look at COS. Sometimes, the higher COSs can override certain features like DND. Just some ideas.

Yes - I suspect that the extension in question is part of the main ringing group. I know that the COS is set to 0 or the highest available.

I'll definitely check out the ringing group assignments.

Thanks!
