Did you look at the NSP's IP address through the phone to see if is still the same?
what about connecting to the serial port?

I'm in Florida and the System is in Chicago so not able to test serial port connection.

You could send out one of those serial port extenders (serial via TCP/IP). Seems like an odd thing to do, but it might save having to send someone onsite.

Upgrade it to 2.8.5. I think its .5 we had the same problem and that solved it.
