surdel, I recognize the company from the format you laid out. I get emails all the time from them wanting bids on work. Saw one not long ago, a scanner swapout for $7 each. I can rob the paperboy and do better.But yet, apparently they find people to do it I guess or they wouldnt stay in business.And sometimes they deduct their fee from your pay, what a deal(for them)

sorry for asking about dollar amount. Will remember next time. I have gone though these so called companies before. Once, was so frustrated doing a router swap out, that it refused to communicate with the home office. Company asked me to go back and install the next one. I said forget it. You want to put me in a phone que for half a hour waiting to confirm the install and test, then go hire some one else. It was during this time, the same company called a local telco provider to do the install based on there requirements. There response is "That is not the way we do business here..click!"

I no longer do work for that same us based outsource company.

Skip, I am off to HD to see if they can give me a deal on a 3-pack of 4 foot werner ladders and those big HVAC tie wraps :p

I had the same company wanting me to do the same install for the same price. I finally had to call them and explain the going rate for a reputable, insured company was more than what they were authorizing. If they wanted to pay that, then we would be happy to do the business. Haven't heard back since.

I just got my new declarations page for my insurance policy for next year. Price stayed about the same and I still have my killer inland marine floater attached :-) Every year, el stupido has to ask about that $1Mil Auto coverage. Apparently, if I hire someone who is underinsured and they have an accident in their vehicle, my policy covers the difference. Not bad, about $9 a month for the premium.

I just checked my account at the national outsource provider. Interesting, all four of those wifi/dsl jobs just suddenly disappeared after days of being advertised to all the local techs. Wonder if they got the message no one is interested?

they probably got somebody to do them . so your saying you log in and there are jobs listed to the first one willing to do them ?
