Thanks WRichey, I do see the list in another MMC of the manual, but still alot of the description fields are blank. I'll check with tech support re: MW keys not working. If anyone else can program an MW key please let me know. Thanks again.

Honestly we never use them. We just create a group list and forward out the messages.

We do alot of medical practices. The MW key we use for multiple message lights and label them like: Referral Message, Prescription Message Etc. Seems to be a real good selling point.

RM, that's funny I also have a lot of medical practices and use the exact same mailboxes. Most of my practices are 7100's but I have one running a 7200 and one running a 7400 which is actually networked to the 7100's. The MW key works fine on all of them.

Connextions, are you using station group as an extender on the MW? Because that one doesn't work on the 7100's or the 7200's. I'm thinking it's a software issue on the 7200-S. I can't get any MW key to work regardless as to what the extender is.

No I'm sending the messages to a virtual extensions mailbox. (i.e. MW 3401) I have a 7200-S going in hopefully next week and it sounds like it will be interesting since I will need MW keys. I will let you know.
By the way, my 7100's are running either SW versions 4.24a or 4.14k.

VG key will work on 7200-S. Also, found a couple of issues: On station port 201 DT and DS keys don't light when in use and preset forward no answer doesn't work thru KMMC. waiting for the patch.

A VG key is a Group Message. Make sure that every extension that has the button is a member of the group otherwise they key won't light up.
It was in early OS7100 software then was removed and looks like they put it back again. Its on all other DCS/iDCS/OS software (at least down here in AU)

I wasn't even aware of the MW XXX button feature. That one slipped past me. That's why I love this forum. Just tried it on a 7100, seems to work like a champ.

A couple questions if I may. Did you press and hold the reset key on the 7200S processor after initial start up until the run light went red solid? That is necessary for a clear clean database. Also did you have a mailbox and extension! created in the VM system to match the virtual or station group you are trying to match up to with the MW key? Other than that I can’t see any reason it shouldn’t work. Hope this helps. Good luck
