make sure all your settings are correct in mmc 831. If so reset your MGI card.

Are the phones internal or external? Have you checked MMC 806 to make sure that the system sees the MGI and mmc 724 that the MGI channels have numbers?

The phones are internal, both. IP and normals, actually IP phones works with or without the MGI Card.
I can see the MGI card in MMC 806 and in MMC 724 I have the 8 channels 3801 al 3808.
My IP extensions are 320X and my extensions are 2XX.
Thank you

can you ping your MGI IP address?
the format you should use is ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -t. Sometimes if the card hasnt been reset it will still respond to a few pings. If you get 10 consecutive pings, then it should be good.

I made some change... in the MMC 616 MGI User, I set that the port 3801 can be used for the extension 3201, 3802 for 3202. And now itñs workin, but I don´t think this is good, because I just have 8 ports 3801 to 3802 that means that I just can have 8 IP phones.

I dont think you want to lock up the ports that way.
mmc 830 set private with public 831, 840 the same.

I GOT IT !!!!!!!!!!!!! I was missing something, I need to get in the MMC 615 and set all the port in the group LOCAL ITP. I think that when you put the MGI Card in the beginin you don´t need to do this (I mean when you turn on in the default pamateters), but when you have a system already configured then you need to set up this MMC. Thank you
