I am attempting to use an external modem to program the Corprate Office DX through com port 2. After succesfully connecting when I disconnect the DX board starts beeping and I can't reconnect until I reboot the system or disconnect and reconnect the cable. I am think that I need to jumper something on the cable to keep a signal present or eliminate a signal?

Thanks;
Peter

It sounds as though you are shutting down the VM program when you exit. When your done programming, returm to "display line status" screen and just x out of key link, then disconnect. If you use "exit this program", you shut off the VM software.
