in program 4-10 you can see the port/ext assignments
follow steps 1 & 2
type in 10 on the keypad
hit conference to scroll thru the ports/exts
speaker to get out
------------------------------------- you know the analog ports are starting on port 33 from 7-1

I was right (almost), 34 is the one I want, and when I go in and do what you said it doesn't work. When I go back in, all the lights on all 16 linekeys are lit green (I also tried red) but the phone never rings when the outside line rings. I also notice that none of the linekey lights are lit for any of the rest of our digital phones, but maybe they are programmed to ring in a different way?
Any other things to try?

I had trouble posting a reply to this board, so Chris and I took it off line. So far we've exchanged 6 emails or so each, and I've given him all the info he's been able to think to ask for, but our system seems to be non-standard in some way, and he has not been able to figure it out. Frankly I'm not knowledgeable enough to tell you the problem, except that everything seems to be programmed to extension 300, but we can't find extension 300 anywhere. Something like that anyway.

Let's this has been going on for a couple of weeks. Doesn't your time mean anything to you? Why are you so willing to dismiss your telecom vender? You said you don't want to pay him all that money to come on site & punch a few keys. By this time it would have seemed like money well spent.
