This looks like a great forum and I sure could use some help. I have a Vodavi 5000-00 with a mini-voice. We have 10 desktop phones and the system has worked great for many years.
Recently one of our 8 button units started defaulting to "Mute" with an incoming intercom call. None of my other phones do this and I can't figure out how to change it back.
Any advice on how to change this function back?

On the front is a slide switch with an HPT setting. I'm betting it got moved to P, set it back to H for hands free or T for Tone (ringing)

Thanks for the quick reply. I read that in several places on the forum but I do not see a switch or a button on these phones. I was hoping it was just a specific key combination that the user just happened to hit.

While I'm not familiar with these sets even the old Vodavi systems I've worked on had a switch somewhere for this feature. One of the Vodavi experts will be along to help you out I'm sure.

The 8 button phones don't have an H-T-P switch. You will need to dial 667 to toggle to the next setting. Each time you dial 667, you change it from H to P, then from P to T, then from T to H.

Thanks Ed ~ Thought I had it, none of my phones seem to respond to that unless I'm missing something. If I dial 667, I get a rapid busy signal.

Don't lift the handset when you dial 667.

I didn't lift the handset. I used (667) the same way I would use the Do Not Disturb feature (631). Instead of the three tone confirmation, I get a rapid busy signal.
I tried it on several of the office sets and no luck. They all respond with rapid busy...

I found the feature codes for the Triad S and it shows as Ed stated 667 for HTP.

Are you using 3 or 4 digit dialing for your extensions?
