How come it shows licensed for 8 voice ports and 0 activated , I can call all 8 ports ??

That looks like the right license for 8 ports, 20 unifies licenses. Without a valid system license there will be no serial number when you look at license info, and you can only program 2 ports. Then in about a month, the voicemail stops working.

You just apply them like other license, generate them on FYI. It did seem to me that the licenses did not get correctly activated until I rebooted. Normally you would have to restart services when making changes to the ports, like when you assign the extension numbers.
