The PPTC-9 with a 6 conductor cord connects to your serial port and the other end connects to the voicemail.
You might want to call a Toshiba dealer in your area to help you with this

What baud rate were you using ? I tried all of them... IVP8 Rv2 default should have been 57600, but when I tried to use that and it failed I tried all the way down to 1200.. If I used anything other than 57600 it told me baud rate issues.

In VM manager for LVMU on a CIX100, I am using modem to dial in but have to manually dial can't get it set up to dial automatically. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, can anyone PM me default password for stratagy to use in vm manager setup?

The premade connections alredy have the default passwords saved. You should be able to save it as a new connection, then selete your modem from the dropped-down list and uncheck manual dial. Enter the phone numnber, followed by a few commas for pauses, the the LVMU interneal modem box.

According to the Toshiba's documentation for VM Manager, they have only tested a TrippLite USB-to-serial adapter with the software, and it works.
They do mention that other USB adapters should *probably* work. I'm not taking this as gospel as I've spent a LOT of time with the Stratagy software (DOS and Windows versions) and it is cranky.
