Assign a button on any phone as a Night key, then enable in Class Of Service for the extension (default is COS 1 for all extensions).

Press the button. Display will say "MODE?"

Press 1 for Day, light will be off
Press 2 for Day 2, light will blink
Press 3 for night. Light will be on solid.

The modes will still change per schedule.

Two questions --

1) Is it possible to program a FOURTH day/night setting (i.e. Day 3) or are you limited to Day 1, Day 2 and Night?

2) Is it possible to program an individual phone to be outside of the Day/Night settings? (i.e. a phone that rings immediately on all calls regardless of Day/Night setting?)

1. No. Just 3 modes

2. You can use different tenants to split extensions and line into groups so that different groups of phones can change the modes only for their lines, but in the above situation you wouldn't need to. Just program that phone to ring in all modes. Each mode is programable however you want them to be.

Thanks, that all makes sense. I tried going into eManager and into an individual station assignment. In the key set up, selected particular lines and set them to immediate ring on any mode. Unfortunately, the lines seem to follow the day/night settings not the phone settings. Is there a middle step I am missing? thanks!

Check the line's DIT setting. They may be going to a Multiple Call group. If they are, then the ring settings on the keys won't apply.

Hi - Yes, I checked and all our incoming phone lines are going to a Multiple Call group. Sounds like there is no way to override this on one handset other than to completely reprogram the system.

I have a CTX100 / IVP8. Using eManage 3.10A19, how do I go about setting up auto-night ring? I have a second until CTX28 but can't figure out where to lookup the information. ANy help will be highly appreciated. thanks.
